Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable Laboratory Assistant to support daily lab operations in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in specimen processing phlebotomy and venipuncture along with strong communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities:
- Perform specimen collection including phlebotomy and venipuncture
- Process and prepare laboratory specimens for testing
- Maintain accurate records and labeling of samples
- Ensure proper handling and storage of specimens
- Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure workflow efficiency
- Follow safety protocols and quality standards
- Support general lab operations and administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Minimum 2 years of laboratory processing phlebotomy and venipuncture experience (preferred)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks effectively
