Evam builds mission-critical technology for the people who keep society safe. Our software is used by police ambulance fire & rescue and other public safety organisations to manage complex time-critical operations. Every day Evam supports first responders handling hundreds of thousands of life-threatening incidents.
We currently serve customers across the Nordics and the United Kingdom and have achieved 200% annual growth for the past three years. To support our continued expansion we are now looking for a Sales Engineer based in Sweden to support our commercial activities on a global market.

As a Sales Engineer at Evam you will have access to the latest AI tools to support you in your role from intelligent tender analysis to automated procurement workflows and technical sales support.
Prior experience in the industry is not a requirement and we encourage applications from candidates with diverse professional backgrounds.
The Role:
As a Sales Engineer at Evam you will act as the technical counterpart to the commercial sales team throughout the sales process. You will help customers understand the value of Evams platform through demonstrations technical discussions solution design and procurement responses.
You will work closely with Sales Executives Product Management and Delivery teams to support enterprise sales opportunities across multiple markets. The role combines technical expertise with strong communication and presentation skills requiring the ability to explain complex functionality in a clear commercial and customer-oriented way.
You will also play a central role in developing and managing Evams internal AI tools used by the commercial organisation to improve sales workflows tender management and operational efficiency.
The role supports Evams commercial activities globally and includes occasional international travel.
What you will do:
- Support the commercial team in customer meetings and enterprise sales processes
- Deliver customer demonstrations tailored to operational workflows and customer needs
- Configure and maintain demo environments and technical sales setups
- Translate technical functionality into clear customer value and business impact
- Support public procurement processes by writing and coordinating tender responses
- Analyse inbound procurement opportunities and identify strategic fit
- Work closely with Product and Delivery teams to shape customer solutions
- Develop and improve Evams AI-powered sales and tender management tools
- Support technical evaluations workshops and proof-of-concept activities
- Act as a trusted technical advisor during complex enterprise sales cycles
Who you are
You enjoy working in the intersection between technology communication and sales. You are comfortable presenting technical solutions to both operational users and senior stakeholders and you understand how to adapt messaging depending on the audience.
You are structured analytical and curious about customer workflows and operational challenges. Most importantly you know how to use technical knowledge to support commercial outcomes.
We believe you have:
- Experience in a technical pre-sales sales engineering solution consulting or similar customer-facing technical role
- Experience presenting and demonstrating software solutions to customers
- Strong communication and presentation skills in English
- Ability to understand operational workflows and translate them into customer value
- Experience working with enterprise software SaaS or technically complex systems
- Experience writing or supporting bids and public procurement responses is considered a strong advantage
- Strong interest in AI tools automation and how AI can support commercial organisations
- A structured and analytical way of working
- A higher education degree preferably in engineering computer science IT or a related field
