We are seeking a dependable and motivated Rehab Aide to support our physical and occupational therapy staff and help patients achieve their recovery goals.
Position Summary
The Rehab Aide plays a vital role in the daily operations of our rehabilitation services by assisting therapists preparing treatment areas and ensuring a positive experience for every patient.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist physical and occupational therapists with patient treatments and exercises under supervision
- Prepare clean and maintain treatment areas and equipment
- Escort patients to and from treatment areas
- Monitor patients during therapy sessions and report concerns to clinical staff
- Support front-desk and administrative tasks as needed (scheduling stocking supplies laundry)
- Maintain a safe organized and welcoming clinic environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Interest in healthcare rehabilitation or physical therapy preferred
- Prior experience as a Rehab Aide Therapy Aide or in a healthcare setting is a plus (not required)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable professional and team-oriented
