Housekeeper (Environmental Aide) Full Time and Part Time available
RiverMead is seeking reliable detail-oriented individuals to join our Housekeeping team as Full-time or Part-time. As a Housekeeper (Environmental Aide) you play an essential role in creating a clean comfortable and welcoming environment for our residents. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys contributing to the well-being of others.
- Rotating laundry weekend shifts (typically every 46 weeks)
- $1.50/hour weekend differential from Friday at 5:00 PM through Sunday at midnight.

Responsibilities
- Perform daily and routine housekeeping duties in apartments cottages healthcare rooms and all common areas in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms mop floors vacuum dust and maintain overall cleanliness
- Complete annual deep cleanings of apartments and cottages
- Maintain adequate supplies in shared bathrooms (e.g. soap paper towels tissues)
- Pick up deliver and change bed linens in apartments and cottages
- Keep work areas and housekeeping carts clean organized and fully stocked
- Ensure equipment is in good working order and report supply needs or equipment repairs to the Team Leader or Director of Housekeeping
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of three months of housekeeping experience required; healthcare experience preferred
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to read and understand instructions memos and manuals
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact respectfully with individuals of all ages especially older adults
