Senior MEP Engineer

Job Summary
Were looking for an experienced Senior MEP Engineer to join our site supervision in Riyadh Saudi this role you will lead the implementation of mechanical electrical and plumbing systems for large-scale commercial and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional technical expertise strong analytical capabilities and the ability to manage complex engineering projects from conception through completion while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance with local building regulations.
- Supervision of a comprehensive MEP systems including HVAC electrical distribution and plumbing networks for commercial and industrial facilities
- Review detailed engineering drawings specifications and technical documentation using industry-standard CAD (BIM software is an advantage)
- Conduct thorough analysis of building systems to ensure optimal performance energy efficiency and compliance with Saudi building codes and international standards
- Coordinate and collaborate with architects structural engineers and other multidisciplinary teams to insure the integration of MEP systems seamlessly into overall project design
- Lead and mentor junior engineering staff providing technical guidance and ensuring adherence to project specifications and quality standards
- Manage and maintain detailed project documentation and progress reports
- Perform site inspections and quality assurance reviews to verify that installations meet design specifications and regulatory requirements
- Stay current with industry advancements emerging technologies and evolving building codes to ensure projects incorporate best practices
- Analyze and resolve technical challenges and design conflicts that arise during project execution
Qualifications :
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in MEP engineering with at least 3 years in a senior or lead engineering capacity
- Advanced proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD) (BIM modeling tools is an advantage (Revit or equivalent)
- Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC design and calculations) electrical systems (load analysis distribution design) and plumbing systems (water supply drainage fire protection)
- Strong understanding of building codes standards and regulations specific to Saudi Arabia and the Gulf region
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent professional certification (preferred)
- Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) coordination and clash detection (preferred)
- Knowledge of MEP systems integration and building automation systems (preferred)
- Familiarity with construction administration and site supervision processes
