Job Summary
Job Responsibilities:
Produces daily weekly monthly and ad-hoc reports in timely and accurate manners provides analysis to identify area for revenue optimization.
Monitor and ensures rate and inventory integrity on and all other distribution channels. Able to identify the root cause of discrepancies collaborate with distribution team and rectify the issue.
Assists in the preparation of competitive analysis and other supporting documents for presentation at various revenue meetings or for required reporting within the hotel or to corporate teams and ownership.
Understands and projects market trends and position relative to competitors ensure pricing is properly positioned.
Reviews group cut-off dates to ensure proper inventory is being sold and leads Group Pick-Up Meetings with the Group Coordinator and Banquet Service Management team
Assists in the monthly forecasting process and creation of the annual budget as well as long term projections.
Works closely with reservation team and communicates strategies and restrictions. Aligns and communicates strategies with other departments to achieve the common revenue and profitability goals.
Assists with system maintenance including but not limited to rate loading restrictions management monitoring forecasted demand and running daily system checks. System expert within distribution RM and reporting platforms.
Aids in content management in digital channels liaises with hotel Marketing team to ensure regular updates of images and descriptions of hotel room brands outlets and services are completed.
Maintains close relationships with GRC (Global Reservations Center) to ensure the call center is up to date on the hotels information at all times.
Supports special projects within RM and Distribution focused on uncovering new revenue opportunities.
This position is expected to pay between $88000 - $91000 annually.
Qualifications :
Your experience and skills include:
Bachelors Degree in Hotel Management Business Statistics Marketing Finance or a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience. Experience in hotel operations management revenue management which includes knowledge and experience in hotel pricing concepts yield management optimization and selling strategies.
Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills and experience with industry and market trends as they relate to revenue opportunities along with a demonstrated ability to drive revenue.
Knowledge of effective hotel pricing concepts yield management optimization and selling strategies as well as the ability to determine which concepts to apply in given market conditions. Demonstrated experience in industry training including preparation implementation and delivery of training programs. Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to use the results of analysis to make effective strategic decisions. Strong communication skills both verbal and written Dynamic can-do attitude
Experience with IDeaS RMS Opera PMS/Opera Cloud TARS Passkey Delphi is preferred
