Position Summary:

The Parts Puller Team Lead is a working lead role responsible for performing core parts pulling and inventory duties while providing day-to-day coordination guidance and support to the parts pulling team. This role serves as a liaison between team members and management ensuring efficient workflow accurate inventory handling and a productive team-oriented work environment. This position does not have authority to hire terminate or independently discipline employees but is expected to provide input and support to management regarding team performance.

Operational Responsibilities:

• Locate pull and deliver parts accurately and efficiently
• Load and unload trucks and transport freight to proper locations
• Relocate and organize inventory as needed
• Maintain accurate inventory counts; assist with cycle counts and inventory audits
• Computer work daily data entry maintain electronic communication as needed
• Ensure proper storage labeling and handling of parts
• Perform daily data entry and maintain required logs
• Operate equipment (forklifts pallet jacks etc.) as needed (with proper certification)
• Refill propane tanks and maintain equipment readiness
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas including disposal of trash and materials
• Follow all company policies safety procedures and operational standards

Leadership & Team Coordination Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and assign daily workflow to parts puller team members
• Set project timelines as directed by management
• Monitor productivity and provide updates to management
• Train and onboard new hires in parts pulling processes and procedures
• Provide ongoing coaching and support to team members
• Assist in identifying performance gaps and development opportunities
• Delegate tasks based on team member strengths and workload demands
• Lead by example in attendance work ethic and professionalism
• Communicate company updates process changes and expectations to the team
• Support a positive team environment and help address minor conflicts
• Facilitate team meetings as directed by management
• Cross-train team members to ensure operational coverage and efficiency
• Identify opportunities to improve workflow efficiency and accuracy

Qualifications:

• Previous experience with Ford & Lincoln parts warehouse or inventory environment preferred
• Demonstrated ability to lead by example and support team operations
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and management
• Basic computer skills and data entry experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced physically active environment

Certificate Licenses Registrations:

• Valid Drivers License
• Forklift Certification (or ability to obtain)

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Frequent standing walking bending and lifting
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
