Job Summary
The Opportunity
A well-established multi-office law firm in Southern California is seeking a Family Law Associate Attorney for its Los Angeles office. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of a full caseload while continuing to build litigation experience through direct client interaction case strategy development and regular court involvement in a structured in-office environment.
Core Responsibilities
- Handle a full caseload (approximately 40 active matters) from intake to resolution
- Conduct consultations and convert prospective clients
- Draft pleadings motions and legal documents
- Manage discovery and negotiations
- Represent clients in court and litigation proceedings
- Work on matters involving divorce custody adoption spousal support and domestic violence
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of Family Law or Civil Litigation experience (1 year considered)
- Experience with depositions and court appearances preferred
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills
- Commitment to managing a full caseload
Compensation Structure
- Base salary range: $100000 $150000
- Structured bonus program
