Job Description

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a travel contract assignment in a high-acuity emergency care setting. The RN will be responsible for providing direct patient care rapid assessment stabilization and treatment of patients presenting with emergency and life-threatening conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in the Emergency Department
• Perform triage assessment and stabilization of patients
• Manage a wide range of emergency cases and critical conditions
• Administer medications and treatments per clinical protocols
• Float to other units as needed based on facility requirements
• Document patient care accurately in Epic EMR
• Utilize Omnicell medication system for dispensing and management
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in applicable state
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
• Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience
• BLS ACLS PALS certifications required
• TNCC certification required
• CPI or MAB certification required
• Strong emergency nursing and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work night shifts and rotating weekends
