As a Demi Chef De Partie Italian Restaurant at Raffles Doha you will support the culinary team in delivering authentic high-quality Italian cuisine while maintaining the exceptional standards of the Raffles brand. You will assist in the preparation and presentation of dishes contribute to smooth kitchen operations and ensure consistency creativity and attention to detail in every guest experience.

You will work closely with senior chefs to uphold food quality hygiene standards and operational excellence within a luxury dining environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation cooking and presentation of Italian dishes in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards.
• Support the Chef De Partie and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations and service requirements.
• Ensure food quality consistency and portion control standards are maintained at all times.
• Prepare ingredients sauces garnishes and mise en place for service efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations kitchen equipment and storage areas.
• Follow all food safety hygiene and HACCP standards and procedures.
• Assist in monitoring stock levels and minimizing food wastage.
• Ensure proper storage labeling and handling of food products.
• Support the team during busy service periods while maintaining attention to detail and efficiency.
• Maintain strong knowledge of Italian cuisine ingredients and culinary techniques.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth kitchen operations and exceptional guest dining experiences.
• Participate in training and development initiatives to enhance culinary skills and operational knowledge.
• Demonstrate professionalism teamwork and a positive attitude in all interactions.

Qualifications :

• Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in a similar role within an Italian restaurant or luxury hospitality environment.
• Michelin-starred restaurant experience is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of Italian cuisine cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
• Knowledge of food safety hygiene and HACCP standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Passion for culinary excellence and guest satisfaction.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
