Job Summary
We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality at at Raffles Doha as our new Chef De Partie Italian Restaurant. As a Chef De Partie Italian Restaurant at Raffles Doha you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality Italian cuisine while ensuring consistency creativity and excellence in line with the luxury standards of the Raffles abrands. You will support the culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences through strong technical skills attention to detail and a passion for authentic Italian flavors and hospitality.
You will play an important role in maintaining kitchen operations food quality hygiene standards and teamwork within a dynamic luxury dining environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare cook and present high-quality Italian dishes in accordance with established recipes presentation standards and portion controls.
- Ensure consistency quality and timely delivery of all food items within your assigned kitchen section.
- Support daily kitchen operations and assist in maintaining smooth and efficient service during operating hours.
- Monitor food preparation and storage procedures to ensure compliance with food safety hygiene and HACCP standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations kitchen equipment and storage areas at all times.
- Assist in stock control inventory management and minimizing food wastage.
- Support the Sous Chef and Chef De Cuisine in menu preparation recipe development and operational requirements.
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh properly stored and prepared according to quality standards.
- Train and support junior culinary colleagues when required.
- Maintain strong knowledge of Italian cuisine ingredients cooking techniques and current culinary trends.
- Collaborate effectively with the culinary and service teams to deliver exceptional guest dining experiences.
- Adhere to all health safety sanitation and hotel operating procedures.
- Demonstrate professionalism creativity and attention to detail in all aspects of food preparation and presentation.
Qualifications :
- Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 23 years of experience in a similar role within an Italian restaurant or luxury hospitality environment.
- Michelin-starred restaurant experience is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
- Knowledge of food safety hygiene and HACCP standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Professional attitude with a passion for culinary excellence and guest satisfaction.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
