Job Type: Full-time In-office 8:00am-4:00pm
Our client a busy downtown firm is seeking a friendly organized and conscientious individual who enjoys multi-tasking and having a variety of responsibilities to join their administrative team as an Office Services Clerk/Reception Relief. This is a full-time permanent position and will report to the Administrator. The hours of work are Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Closing Files and preparing for off-storage and retrieval of closed files upon request;
- Sorting and delivering incoming mail faxes and courier items and processing of outgoing mail including registered mail;
- Knowledge and operation of photocopiers printers fax machines and building equipment identifying problems and arranging service calls;
- Maintaining the tidiness of the reception area kitchen and boardrooms and ordering/stocking of supplies;
- Inventory and maintenance of office supplies;
- Library publications and updates;
- Providing reception relief including booking boardrooms answering the switchboard and greeting visitors;
- Bank deposits;
- Attending semi-annual fire warden meetings;
- Flexibility to work overtime occasionally.
- 1 to 2 years of Customer Service experience;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Knowledge of general office procedures and MS Office applications-Word Outlook and Excel at an intermediate level;
- Excellent customer service skills;
- Strong organizational skills and very good attention to detail;
- Ability to lift and/or move file boxes photocopy paper supplies etc. (up to 40lbs);
- Ability to work independently and function effectively as part of a team;
- Ability to multitask and handle a high volume of work;
- Excellent judgement;
- Professional attitude and appearance;
- Experience in a professional environment is an asset.
