Job Summary
Job Title: Mid-Level Ionic Developer (Angular Capacitor Electron)

About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Mid-Level Ionic Developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate has solid experience building cross-platform applications using Ionic and Angular with exposure to desktop and mobile environments through Capacitor and Electron. You will be responsible for developing maintaining and optimizing scalable applications with a strong focus on performance and user experience.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain cross-platform applications using Ionic and Angular
Build and deploy mobile applications using Capacitor (Android/iOS)
Develop desktop applications using Electron
Integrate RESTful APIs and handle asynchronous data flows
Write clean maintainable and reusable code following best practices
Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces
Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues across platforms
Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing
Work with Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines
Required Skills & Qualifications
35 years of experience in frontend or hybrid app development
Strong proficiency in Angular (v18) and TypeScript
Hands-on experience with Ionic Framework
Experience with Capacitor for mobile app development
Experience building or maintaining Electron applications
Solid understanding of REST APIs JSON and HTTP protocols
Good knowledge of HTML5 CSS3 SCSS and responsive design
Familiarity with RxJS and reactive programming patterns
Experience with state management (NgRx or similar is a plus)
Working knowledge of Git and modern development workflows
Nice to Have
Experience with app store deployment (Google Play / Apple App Store)
Knowledge of native plugins and device integrations
Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jasmine Karma Cypress)
Understanding of security best practices in hybrid apps
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies

Salary Range (Ontario & BC Only):
The estimated base salary range for this role is CAD$70200.00 - CAD$85800.00 per year.
