Job Summary
Job Summary
The Learning & Development (L&D) Specialist provides critical support across Human Resources functions with 75% of responsibilities dedicated to learning and development initiatives and 25% to HR generalist support. Thisdual roleensures the seamless delivery of internal training programs onboarding experiences compliance education and employee development initiatives. Additionally the L&D Specialist supports core HR communications wellness programming and internal systems administration.
Ideal candidates are organized detail-oriented and proactive withstrong communicationskills and a passion for employee growth and development.
Key Responsibilities
Orientation Facilitation:Oversee and deliver new hire orientation sessions including preparation of materials facilitation and distribution of weekly summaries. Maintain an NPS of 50 through high-quality delivery and feedback monitoring.
Training Administration:Serve as the administrator for internal training programsset up sessions manage invitations track attendance follow up with missing participants and document completions.
Content Evaluation:Conduct Level 3 evaluations for all internaltrainings; input andmaintainresults in the L&D master data tracker.
Compliance Training:Manage state and federal compliance training schedules track completion generate reports andmaintaina minimum 98% completion rate across the organization.
Assessment Delivery:Facilitatepersonality assessments using the Big 5 framework for both individuals and teams ensuringaccurateinterpretation and feedback.
Learning Systems Management:Maintainand update L&D content within SharePoint and UKG Pro Learning platforms. Assign and manage newleadertraining content.
Individual Contributor Training:Deliver or supportadditionallearning sessions as assigned including coaching and developmental follow-ups.
Reporting & Metrics:Support data collection analysis and evaluation for all L&D programs contributing to continuous improvement of training effectiveness.
Leadership Resources:Maintainthe Leadership SharePoint page with relevant tools articles and contentupdatingregularly.
UKG Learning Requests:Upload departmental content to UKG Pro Learning as requested and supply participation reports to department leaders.
HR Phone Support:Partner with the HR team to ensure 100% of incoming HR phone calls are answered within three rings minimizing voicemail use.
Education and Ideal ExperienceAssociates degree in Human Resources Education or related fieldpreferred
23 years of experience in L&D human resources training coordination or related field
Experience using learning management systems (e.g. UKG Pro Learning) and Microsoft Office Suite
Proven ability to deliver engaging presentations and manage detailed administrative processes
Strong communicationand organizational skills
Ability to work independently and collaborativelymaintaininga high levelof confidentiality
