The Senior Accountant plays a key role in managing the organizations financial processes ensuring accuracy compliance and timely reporting. This position leads month-end close activities supports financial analysis and partners cross-functionally to drive operational efficiency and strong internal controls.

Position Summary
The Senior Accountant plays a key role in managing the organizations financial processes ensuring accuracy compliance and timely reporting. This position leads month-end close activities supports financial analysis and partners cross-functionally to drive operational efficiency and strong internal controls.
Responsibilities
- Lead month-end close process including P&L review and financial performance analysis
- Prepare and review general ledger reconciliations (prepaids accruals and other balance sheet accounts)
- Perform monthly intercompany reconciliations and manage intercompany transactions
- Record and review journal entries (depreciation accruals prepaid expenses ROU assets etc.)
- Prepare consolidated monthly financial reporting packages for executive leadership
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal accounting policies
- Conduct monthly sales and financial performance analysis
- Coordinate and review sales tax reporting with external partners
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate cash records
- Monitor liquidity and prepare weekly cash flow reports
- Analyze loan balances and borrowing base availability
- Reconcile bank accounts to loan accounts
- Process vendor payments (ACH and wire) and approve positive pay transactions
- Support year-end close and coordinate with external auditors
- Assist with budgeting and financial planning processes
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve financial accuracy and efficiency
- Identify and implement process improvements and strengthen internal controls
- Perform additional duties as needed
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field required
- 47 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP
- Experience with month-end close and financial reporting
- Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- Experience with intercompany accounting and consolidations
- Background in treasury or cash management functions
