We are seeking experienced Intermediate and Advanced Riggers (RI / RA) to join our Alkimos SeaWater Alliance Project. You will play a key role in ensuring all rigging operations are carried out safely efficiently and in accordance with lift procedures project requirements and WHS legislation.

Key Responsibilities

Rigging Operations

• Carry out intermediate to advanced rigging tasks including lifting moving and securing structural steel mechanical equipment precast elements and materials

• Interpret lift plans engineered drawings and rigging studies

• Select inspect and safely use rigging gear including slings shackles chain blocks and lifting assemblies

• Direct crane operators and doggers using clear communication and standard signalling

• Set up and dismantle hoists winches and temporary lifting systems

Safety & Compliance

• Perform pre-start equipment checks and report defects immediately

• Ensure all lifting activities comply with WHS legislation site requirements and manufacturer specifications

• Maintain exclusion zones and enforce safe lifting practices

Planning & Coordination

• Support lift planning for non-critical and complex lifts

• Work with engineers supervisors crane crews and trades to coordinate safe and efficient lifting operations
