Job Summary
JOB DUTIES
- Perform Structural engineering analysis and coordinate detailed design for steel concrete and foundation systems
- Develop structural calculations drawings specifications and technical reports
- Apply applicable codes and standards including ASCE 7 IBC AISC and ACI. Coordinate structural designs with civil geotechnical mechanical piping electrical and process disciplines
- Aide senior engineers in support of large facility projects
- Review shop drawings respond to RFIs and provide construction phase support
- Minimal field time and/or travel is expected but may be required at times
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelors Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited program
- 0 Years of experience (Engineer I) or 2-5 Years of experience (Engineer II)
- Design experience or courses in structural steel and/or concrete design.
- EIT certification preferred
- Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment
- Experience using the following software required: AutoCAD RISA-3D STAAD Pro Mathcad L-Pile Bluebeam Navisworks and Excel
- Experience with industry standards such as: ASCE 7 IBC AISC and ACI
Salary Range:
Engineer Level 1- $75K - $80K
Engineer Level 2- 80K - $95K
