The Vice President-Philanthropy will bring visionary leadership as the chief fundrasising strategist responsible for supporting the Foundations mission through fundraising growth. This role additionally serves as the President over the Foundation. This position entails strategic leadership fundraising operational management and partnership with market and system executives to align Foundation activities with HSHS strategic goals. As President of the Foundation the Vice President-Philanthropy also holds the ex-officio role on the Board of Directors and implements the Foundations long-term strategic plan in collaboration with the Board of Directors. The Vice President leads all fundraising efforts including major giving annual giving planned giving private and government grants events and campaigns.


Education Qualifications

  • Masters degree in business communications public relations philanthropic studies or a related field is required.
  • Bachelors degree in business communications public relations philanthropic studies or a related field plus five years of leadership experience in philanthropy and/or fundraising may be considered in lieu of a Masters degree.

Experience Qualifications

  • 8 years of philanthropy experience is required.
  • 5 years of leadership experience is required.
