Position: License Clerk
Job Type: (Remote)
Jonesbororealtycompany is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented License Clerk to join our team. As a License Clerk you will be responsible for managing various licenses and permits for our company and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of all licenses and permits required for the companys operations
- Prepare and submit license and permit applications to the appropriate government agencies
- Monitor and track the status of all licenses and permits ensuring timely renewals and updates
- Communicate with government agencies to obtain necessary information and resolve any issues related to licenses and permits
- Keep up-to-date with changes in regulations and laws related to licenses and permits and communicate any updates to relevant team members
- Work closely with other departments to ensure all necessary licenses and permits are obtained for new projects or business ventures
- Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures related to licenses and permits
- Conduct periodic audits to ensure all licenses and permits are up-to-date and in compliance with regulations
- Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive information related to licenses and permits
- Provide support and assistance to other administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role preferably in a real estate or property management company
- Knowledge of local state and federal regulations related to licenses and permits
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures
- Must be able to work full time Monday-Friday
