Position Overview

Our client is seeking professional reliable and experienced Camera Operators based in or near Manhattan to support live productions interviews street-level content and high-energy media shoots throughout New York City.

This role is ideal for a videographer or camera operator who is comfortable working in fast-paced real-time production environments similar to live events sports coverage broadcast media and street reporting.

The selected candidate will work closely with producers on-site crew members and talent to capture high-quality footage in dynamic Manhattan locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate professional video cameras during live shoots interviews and production assignments.
• Capture street footage live production scenes interviews and event-style content.
• Work closely with producers directors talent and on-site production staff.
• Ensure all footage is clear stable properly framed and production-ready.
• Maintain and handle camera equipment professionally.
• Adapt quickly to changing locations schedules and public filming environments.
• Support the production team in creating high-quality visual content.

Required Qualifications

• Must own or have access to a professional camera such as Sony Canon Blackmagic or similar.
• Prior experience in videography live production event coverage media production or related work.
• Must be located in or near Manhattan NYC.
• Strong communication skills and professional reliability.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends as needed.
• Comfortable filming in busy fast-moving public environments.
• Ability to take direction and work effectively with a production team.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with live broadcasting sports-style coverage street interviews or event production.
• Strong portfolio or reel demonstrating previous camera work.
• Familiarity with audio lighting and basic production setup.
• Experience working with media companies content creators or live production teams.

Compensation

• $40 per hour
