Job Description
Role: Senior Accountant
Location: Mexborough
Salary: Up to 43000 (DOE)
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well established and long standing accountancy practice in Mexborough supporting a varied portfolio of clients and working closely with an experienced team.

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant job include:
Preparation and review of year end statutory accounts for a range of clients
Preparation of corporation tax and personal tax returns
Managing a portfolio of clients as main point of contact
Liaising with clients to provide advice and resolve queries
Reviewing and supporting work completed by junior team members
Assisting with VAT returns and management accounts where required
Ensuring all work is completed accurately and within deadlines
Requirements of the Senior Accountant job include:
Previous experience within a UK accountancy practice
ACA or ACCA qualified part qualified or qualified by experience
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Proactive and professional approach
