Job Description

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a high-volume Level I Trauma Center float pool assignment. This role will primarily support Emergency Department boarder patients including Med/Surg Stepdown and ICU-level patients with potential floating to acute care units as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department environment
• Care for ED boarder patients across multiple acuity levels including Med/Surg Stepdown and ICU
• Float to acute care units as required based on staffing needs
• Perform patient assessments medication administration and emergency interventions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams for coordinated patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Respond effectively to rapidly changing patient conditions in a trauma setting

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in applicable state
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar-sized Level I Trauma facility
• Emergency Department experience required
• BLS ACLS and TNCC certifications required
• Strong critical care and emergency response skills
• Ability to float between units and adapt quickly to patient acuity changes
