As a Security Officer - Entry Control Point in New Braunfels TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more. As an Access Control Officer at a busy food and beverage location you will monitor entry points verify credentials and help support smooth site access for employees visitors and deliveries. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors drivers and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify credentials and/or visitor logs and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas loading zones and other designated spaces.
• Respond to incidents unusual activity and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting security-related concerns and reporting them through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location including interior areas exterior grounds perimeter points and receiving or shipping areas as working conditions may vary by site.
• Support security-related screening and traffic flow processes for deliveries pickups and visitor arrivals while providing clear directions and following post orders and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
