Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join a high-acuity Medical/Surgical unit specializing in trauma and surgical care. This role involves managing complex patient cases in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to individuals with complex medical and surgical conditions
- Manage high-acuity cases including spinal neuro and trauma patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Perform accurate documentation using electronic medical records
- Participate in patient handoff processes between departments
Requirements
- Active RN license (state-specific or compact)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Medical/Surgical experience
- BLS certification required
- ACLS preferred
- Experience with EPIC EMR system required
- Must be flexible with assigned schedules (no block scheduling)
- Availability for full assignment duration required
