Flooring Sales & Design Associate

• Competitive base pay plus performance-based commission
• Strong earning potential based on sales performance and project volume

• Conduct in-home and on-site consultations to assess client needs
• Guide clients through product selection including hardwood carpet tile laminate LVP and more
• Deliver accurate estimates and proposals using company systems
• Follow a structured sales process to drive close rates

• Manage projects from sale through installation completion
• Coordinate timelines with internal teams and installers
• Ensure accuracy of measurements selections and orders
• Maintain consistent communication with clients throughout the process

• Meet or exceed individual sales goals
• Build referral networks and maintain client relationships
• Leverage company-provided and self-generated leads
• Identify opportunities to increase project value and profitability

• Prior experience in in-home sales flooring or design consultation preferred
• Proven ability to generate and close sales
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects
• Comfortable using technology (CRM systems tablets etc.)
• Strong communication and client relationship skills

• Field-based role with travel within a 60-mile radius
• Additional travel up to 35% including occasional overnight travel (23 weeks per year)
• Work performed in residential and commercial environments

• Ability to travel to client locations regularly
• Ability to stand walk bend and move throughout job sites
• Ability to lift and carry product samples (typically up to 25 pounds)
• Ability to navigate stairs tight spaces and varying environments

• Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record
• Must meet company insurance eligibility requirements
• Ability to pass background and drug screening
• Proof of insurance if using personal vehicle for business use
