Job Summary
Physical Education Support Aide
Gatesville Intermediate School
2026-2027
Assist teacher in preparation and management of classroom activities and administrative requirements. Work under supervision of certified teacher.
Education/Certification / Experience:
- High school diploma or GED
- Associates degree or two years of study at an institute of higher learning preferred
- Meet formal academic assessment required byESSA
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to assist in instructing science reading writing and mathematics
- Ability to work well with children
- Capable of lifting up to 65 lbs.
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Some experienceworking with children required
