About the Role
We are seeking experienced and creative educators to develop high-quality lesson plans for Grades 112 across a range of subject areas including Science English Language Arts Social Studies Business Humanities The Arts Core FrenchMath Technology French Immersionand Physical Education.This is a freelance remote opportunity ideal for teachers or curriculum developers with a strong understanding of age-appropriate instruction inclusive pedagogy and engaging classroom practices.
Key Accountabilities
- Design clear structured and engagingstudent focusedlesson plansand supporting teacher materialsaligned with curriculum expectations
- Incorporate diverse teaching strategies differentiated instruction and varied assessment methods
- Develop content that supports inclusive accessible and student-centered learning environments
- Create lessons that meaningfully connect tostudentslived experiences and the world around them
- Integrate principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and Culturally Relevant and Responsive Pedagogy (CRRP)in lessons
- Work efficiently within digital platforms to support agile rapid content development
Requirements
- Background inK-12education (teaching preferred)
- Experience developing lesson plans for K12 studentsor a specific division primary junior intermediate high school
- Demonstrated understanding of UDL and CRRP frameworks
- Strong writing organization and time management skills
- Ability to design relevant real-world learning experiences that resonate with diverse learners
- Comfort working in collaborative digital environments with quick turnaround times
- Familiarity with provincial or national curriculum standards is an asset
