Job Description
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have strong Step-Down or Intermediate Care experience and the ability to manage patients requiring close monitoring and advanced nursing care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care/Step-Down unit
- Monitor and assess patients with complex medical conditions
- Administer medications treatments and cardiac monitoring as required
- Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and clinical records
- Deliver high-quality patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license in applicable state
- Minimum 2 years of recent Progressive Care Step-Down or Intermediate Care experience
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- Current AHA ACLS certification required
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- Strong cardiac monitoring and critical care assessment skills
- Ability to work night shifts in a high-acuity environment
