Job Summary

Install programmaintainand repair security alarm wiring and equipment andensureswork isin accordance withrelevant codes for SafeStreetsand state and local municipalities.Represent SafeStreets professionally in customer homes and businessesidentifycustomer needs and support sales activities by educating customers on products and services and presenting available upgrade oradditionalservice options as applicable.

Essential Functionsand Responsibilities

  • Arrive at each installation opportunitytimelyenhance customer security system byusing company confirmed company enhancementprocess and performthe installation of related security equipment efficiently according to company best practices as outlinedin company training andin theInstallation Manual.

  • Professionally provide any consultation tocustomeraboutadditionalsecurity needs or concerns.

  • Ensure all paperwork/digital confirmation(s)is completed correctly including customers signature(s) and payment (if) at time ofinstallation opportunity visit.

  • Check in upon arrival at each appointment.

  • Once a successful installation is complete update Salesforce.

  • Check out upon departure.

  • Responsible formaintainingaccurateinventory and controls including receiptofusage of and physical counts.

  • Maintain any and all certifications licensesinsuranceetc.as required.

Competencies &KPIs

  • Read andcomprehendinstructions short correspondence and emails.

  • Ability to effectively communicate information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers clients andother employees of the organization

  • Ability to apply commonsenseunderstanding to carry out instructionsfurnishedin written oral or diagram form.

  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

  • Ability to apply the companys established processes and protocol to respond to and solve customer inquiries.

SkillsPhysicalDemands & Work Environment

  • Must be able to stand walk bend andlift upto 45 pounds.

  • Must have considerable dexterity in his/her handsfingersand wrists.

  • The job is performed insideand outside of residential homes as well as commercial dwellings andundervaryingtemperature variations a generallyhazard freeenvironment.

  • Must havefullyoperational vehicleuseto and from various appointments.Travel can be up to 30% of thework day.

Licenses Certifications &Educational Requirements

  • All SafeStreets employees must be at least 18 years of age and pass a criminal background check

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

  • Must havevery effectivecommunication and interpersonal skills

  • Must be able to see and hear; write and speak the English language

  • Alarm industry experience is preferred but not.

  • Exceptional customer service skills and professional appearance.

  • Current valid drivers license and clean driving record.

Compensation

SafeStreets compensation may include base pay and for eligible roles variablecompensationor bonuses.Variable andbonus compensation is not guaranteed and is governed by applicable plan terms. All compensation is paid in compliance with federal state and local wage laws including applicable minimum wage and overtime requirements.Variablepay is definedas aâperformance-based compensation structureand will be sharedin aseparate compensation plan.

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and anyadditionalsecurity clearances or licensesfor the role including applicable state licensing requirements.
