Job Summary
University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Attendants to provide exceptional in-home care services to our clients in Richmond MI. As a Home Care Attendant you will play a vital role in helping individuals maintain their independence and quality of life by assisting with daily living activities and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing dressing grooming and hygiene.
- Support clients with mobility and transferring safely.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in social and recreational activities.
- Monitor and report any changes in clients health or behavior to supervisory staff.
- Ensure adherence to care plans and follow all company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home care or related field is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation to travel to client homes in the Richmond MI area.
- Compassionate patient and respectful attitude towards clients.
- Must pass background checks.
