We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Database Assistant to support the management maintenance and accuracy of company data within our plastics manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will assist in updating product inventory customer supplier and production records while ensuring data integrity and efficient database performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter update and maintain data related to:
- Plastic raw materials
- Production batches
- Inventory levels
- Customer orders
- Supplier information
- Verify data accuracy and correct inconsistencies or duplicates.
- Generate reports for production inventory sales and quality control teams.
- Assist with database backups and data security procedures.
- Support ERP or inventory management systems used by the company.
- Coordinate with warehouse production and purchasing departments to ensure accurate records.
- Maintain confidential company information and documentation.
- Assist in preparing spreadsheets charts and operational summaries.
- Troubleshoot basic database or data-entry issues and escalate when necessary.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or associate degree in Information Technology Business Administration Computer Science or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in data entry database administration or manufacturing support is an advantage.
- Proficiency in:
- Microsoft Excel
- Database software
- ERP systems (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage large volumes of data accurately and efficiently.
