Workshop Based CASUAL 9-Day Fortnight Immediate start for 5 weeks work!

CrewSELECT is a specialised workforce agency devoted to servicing Australias Electrical Mechanical and Fabrication sectors. We are currently seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join a high-quality switchboard manufacturing workshop.

About the Role

This is a hands-on workshop-based position focused on the end-to-end fabrication of electrical switchboard cabinetry. Youll be working in a small tight-knit team where quality precision and accountability are critical.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete start-to-finish fabrication of sheet metal switchboard enclosures
• MUST HAVE POWDER COATING EXPERIENCE
• Perform folding grinding welding and assembly of sheet metal components
• Work with aluminium pre-punched sheet metal to specification
• Assist with powder coating preparation and finishing processes
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings and job specifications
• Maintain high standards of accuracy finish and workmanship

Experience Required

• Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication
• MUST HAVE POWDER COATING EXPERIENCE!
• Exposure to switchboard manufacturing highly regarded
• Experience working with aluminium and pre-punched sheet metal
• Aluminium welding experience (essential or highly regarded)
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on precision work

Hours & Pay

• 6:00am 3:00pm (MonThurs)
• 6:00am 2:30pm (Fri)
• 9-day fortnight

Pay Rates:

• $45 - $50 per hour
