Job Summary

VHIR is looking for a Clinical Researcher to join the Rheumatology Research Group

Main responsibilities and duties:
  • Organising clinical trials and projects.

  • Writing clinical protocols.

  • Dataset management.

  • Data integration and analysis.

  • Dissemination and communication tasks

Education and qualifications:
Required:
  • Medical doctor

  • Medical specialist accredited by the Spanish Ministry of Health

  • PhD in Medicine

  • Fluency in English official accreditation C1 or higher

Desirable:
  • Profesor contratado doctor (Assistant professor) level accredited by the Spanish National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation

  • Clinical and research experience in other international institutions (>1 year)

Experience and knowledge:
Required:
  • Previous participation in national and international research projects.

  • Expertise in dataset management and data analysis.

  • Specific focus on immune mediated inflammatory diseases (IMID) research with particular interest in connective tissue diseases and vasculitis documented by publications.

  • Expertise in oral communications in congresses.

    Desirable:
  • Previous participation in international research projects as a collaborator.

  • Previous role as the principal investigator in research projects.

  • Experience with translational science.

  • Experience in teaching learning and communication.

  • Participation in EULAR or ACR projects

  • Member of EMEUNET

Labour conditions:

  • Working hours: Part-time (30 hours per week).

  • Starting date: As soon as possible

  • Gross annual salary: 30000

  • Contract type:Technical and scientific activities contract linked to project activities
