The Role

• Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4 with A-Level opportunities depending on experience.

• Planning and delivering structured engaging lessons that utilize strong classroom management and positive reinforcement.

• Assessing student progress and implementing targeted strategies to support high attainment.

• Contributing to the development of the Science curriculum including the use of digital tools like Microsoft OneNote and Teams to enhance learning.

• Maintaining high standards of behavior and engagement even in challenging school environments.

• Working collaboratively within a supportive department that values professional learning and innovation.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• A degree in a Science discipline or a related subject such as Anatomy and Physiology.

• Proven success teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 with experience as a KS3 Lead or similar middle leadership role being highly desirable.

• Experience in working with students with above-average behavioral needs consistently exceeding expectations.

• Proficiency in digital learning platforms to support curriculum delivery.

• A professional resilient and highly organized approach to teaching.
