About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Computer Science Teacher to make a meaningful impact. You will deliver engaging and challenging lessons that foster a love of literature language and critical thinking.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Computer Science across Key Stages 3 4 and 5

• Plan and deliver engaging differentiated lessons to meet a range of abilities

• Inspire students through creative and stimulating approaches to Computer Science

• Develop students analytical writing and communication skills

• Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities

• Assess and monitor progress providing clear and constructive feedback

• Create a positive inclusive and stimulating classroom environment

• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the department and wider school

• Contribute to extracurricular activities such as reading clubs writing competitions or theatre visits

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a teacher who:

• Is passionate about Computer Science and inspiring young people

• Holds a degree in Computer Science or a related subject

• Has QTS (or an equivalent teaching qualification)

• Has experience teaching Computer Science at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)

• Is an engaging and enthusiastic classroom practitioner

• Builds strong relationships with students and colleagues

• Is committed to high standards and ongoing professional development
