We are looking for a Senior/Lead Data Analyst - with strong experience in Python SQL Snowflake Regex and
cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with SQL data analysis and
consulting and performing data analysis to support business insights and decision-making.
This role requires someone who is comfortable working with large datasets transforming data and
collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand and translate business needs into solution requirements.
- Transaction Mapping: Using Regex(must have) to map messy raw card data to merchant entities via internal platforms.
- Snowflake Analysis: Querying large-scale datasets to monitor volumes and identify anomalies.
- QA & Root Cause: Identifying logic failures in merchant naming conventions and refining rules.
- Collaboration: Working with a horizontal team of Product and Tech stakeholders to drive program strategy.
- Consume and manage data from AWS S3 and integrate with downstream systems.
- Leverage Snowflake for data warehousing modeling and performance optimization.
- Build and maintain dashboards (Tableau Power BI or QuickSight) for business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into data solutions
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or any related field
- 7 years of experience in Data Analytics in Banking/Consulting roles.
- SQL: Expert proficiency required specifically for Snowflake.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI Tableau Looker etc.).
- Hands-on with AWS (S3) and Snowflake
- Understanding of banking/financial services data is must have
- Experience working in a client-facing or consulting environment.
- Hands-on experience in data analysis data profiling and exploratory analysis.
- Hands-on experience in analyzing identifying and documenting transformation logic and rules.
- Excellent teamwork and problem-solving abilities.
