Pharmacist in Charge (PIC)

- $150000 $160000 Base Salary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to lead daily pharmacy operations in Galena IL. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed pharmacist with strong retail pharmacy leadership experience who is passionate about patient care team development and operational excellence.
Schedule- Monday Friday
- 9:00 AM 5:30 PM
- Pharmacy closed for lunch: 12:30 PM 1:00 PM
- On-site parking available
- Review and dispense prescriptions accurately and in compliance with regulations
- Ensure medication appropriateness legality and patient safety
- Oversee pharmacy inventory medication storage stocking and labeling
- Supervise and support Pharmacy Technicians in daily operations
- Manage technician schedules and provide performance feedback
- Maintain compliance with pharmacy policies and state regulations
- Utilize pharmacy Patient Management Systems effectively
- Promote a positive patient-focused pharmacy environment
- Active Illinois Pharmacist license required
- Minimum 3 years of retail pharmacy management experience required
- Strong leadership communication and organizational skills
- Experience managing pharmacy staff and operations
- Retail pharmacy leadership experience
- Team management and scheduling experience
