About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Network Administrator to design implement and manage our enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of securing hybrid environments utilizing advanced monitoring tools and maintaining rigorous documentation standards.

Mandatory Qualifications (Minimum 5 Years of Experience Each)

Candidates must demonstrate a minimum of five (5) years of verifiable experience in the following areas. Please list the specific companies/firms where you gained this experience on your resume.

1. Network Architecture & Management

• Designing implementing and managing LAN/WAN networks routers switches and network topology.

2. Network Monitoring & Diagnostics

• Utilizing monitoring tools (e.g. Wireshark SolarWinds) to manage and diagnose network issues.

3. Firewall & Security Segmentation

• Configuring and maintaining network firewalls including external-facing firewalls and those supporting internal network segmentation.

4. Device Hardening & Patching

• Applying security patches and updates to network devices.

5. Virtual LANs & Subnetting

• Setting up VLANs and subnets.

6. Documentation & Procedures

• Creating and maintaining network diagrams configuration documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Desirable Qualifications (Preferred but not required)

Education:

• Possession of a Bachelors Degree from an accredited university in Computer Science Information Technology or Network Engineering.

Certifications:

• Possession of a CompTIA Network or equivalent certification (e.g. CCNA).

Cloud & Hybrid Networking:

• Five (5) years of experience implementing and supporting hybrid network configurations in support of cloud platforms (Azure AWS etc.).

Compliance & Standards:

• Five (5) years of experience complying with government security standards such as NIST.

What You Will Do

• Oversee the health and security of the enterprise network.
• Proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks using Wireshark and SolarWinds.
• Enforce network segmentation and manage firewall policies.
• Execute scheduled patching cycles for all network devices.
• Collaborate with cloud engineers to support hybrid Azure/AWS connectivity.
• Ensure all configurations adhere to NIST compliance frameworks.
