Engineering Technical Lead Dozer Development About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Technical Lead Dozer Development to lead the design and development of a next-generation compact dozer platform (80 100 HP class). This role will focus on product definition engineering leadership benchmarking and cross-functional collaboration with global teams to deliver a competitive product for the North American market.
You will work closely with product management service and manufacturing teams to ensure the machine meets performance reliability cost and technology expectations.
Key Responsibilities Product Development Leadership
- Lead engineering development of a compact crawler dozer platform
- Define product specifications including powertrain hydraulics undercarriage blade control and operator interface
- Ensure compliance with North American regulatory and performance standards
Competitive Benchmarking
- Conduct detailed analysis of competitor machines
- Identify gaps in:
- Productivity
- Fuel efficiency
- Technology features
- Serviceability
- Operator comfort
System Engineering Oversight
- Lead design and development across key systems:
- Powertrain (engine cooling transmission)
- Hydrostatic drive system
- Hydraulic blade control
- Undercarriage durability
- Structural frame design
- Electrical architecture
- Machine control integration (2D/3D grading)
Required Qualifications - Masters degree in Engineering
- 7 10 years of experience in dozer development
- Strong problem-solving analytical and technical decision-making skills
Work Location Travel Requirements - Up to 3 months in China for onboarding
