Job Summary
Job Summary Sr. Project Manager
- Position Title: Sr. Project Manager
- Work Location: Telecommuter/Remote
- Team Structure: 90 project managers (junior to senior levels) supporting the entire Optum Rx business including PBM and multiple pharmacy units (Home Delivery Specialty Genoa Pharmscript etc.)
- Ideal Candidate:
- Highly motivated and self-starting
- Willing to go the extra mile to ensure team and organizational success
- Core Responsibilities:
- Manage major projects including at least one implementation in a non-IS business function
- Communicate and present ideas clearly and concisely
- Balance multiple priorities and manage time effectively
- Direct project outcomes aligned with long-term business objectives
- Required Skills & Experience:
- 3-5 years of project management (or similar) experience
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Strong time management organizational and prioritization abilities
- Preferred/Additional Skills:
- Experience working in a matrixed organization
- Familiarity with Optum Rx products & services
- Healthcare PBM or pharmacy industry experience
- Experience with Smartsheets
- Work Hours: 8am 5pm Central Time Monday through Friday (excluding company holidays)
- Overtime/Weekends: Not required but possible
- Professional License: Not required
- Interview Process:
- Two rounds
- Background Check/Drug Screen: Not required
