ECHOCARDIOGRAPHER (ALLIED) TRAVEL CONTRACT
Facility: Northside Hospital Forsyth
Location: Cumming
Department: Cardiology Services (712)
Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks (05/27/2026 08/22/2026)
Shift: 10-Hour Days (7:00 AM 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM 6:00 PM; varies)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
On-Call: Not required
Candidate Type: Travel Only (No local candidates within 50 miles)
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Echocardiographer to join our Cardiology Services team. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality echocardiographic studies to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac conditions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Perform transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) and other cardiac ultrasound procedures
- Ensure accurate imaging and proper documentation of findings
- Prepare patients for procedures and explain exam processes
- Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare team members for optimal patient care
- Maintain equipment and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards
- Utilize Cerner for documentation and workflow management
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an Echocardiographer
- Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program
- Required Certifications:
- AHA BLS
- RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or
- CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International)
- Registry eligible candidates may be considered
- Guaranteed 40 hours/week
- Overtime:
- Daily OT after 24 hours (based on multiplier)
- Weekly OT after 40 hours (based on multiplier)
- Travel contract opportunity with potential for extension
- No on-call requirement
