We are looking for a Senior Java Backend Developer with deep expertise in building scalable high-performance backend systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java Spring Boot Microservices and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and will be responsible for designing and developing enterprise-grade backend solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot
Build and manage Microservices-based architecture
Develop and consume RESTful APIs
Deploy and manage applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Optimize applications for performance scalability and reliability
Collaborate with frontend DevOps and QA teams
Implement secure coding practices and API security
Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions
Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions

Required Skills

14 years of experience in backend development
Strong expertise in Java Spring Boot Spring MVC Hibernate/JPA
Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture
Solid experience with GCP services (GKE Compute Engine Cloud SQL Pub/Sub etc.)
Strong knowledge of REST APIs and distributed systems
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins Git Maven/Gradle)
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with healthcare clients like CVS Health
Knowledge of cloud security and IAM concepts
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
GCP certification is a plus

Nice to Have

Experience with Kafka / event-driven architecture
Familiarity with Terraform (IaC)
Exposure to monitoring tools (Prometheus Grafana etc.)
