IT Java Developer Senior

Job Title: Senior Java Developer - Hybrid

Duration (Contract): 6 Months

Job Description:

As a Senior Java Developer you will design develop and maintain scalable enterprise applications within a fast paced Agile environment. You will collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver high quality solutions contribute to architectural design mentor team members and ensure timely execution of critical projects while maintaining strong coding and development standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design develop and maintain enterprise level applications using Java and modern frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements and define scalable solutions.
• Develop architectural diagrams software components and automated test scripts.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies product design sessions and sprint planning activities.
• Ensure timely delivery of technical deliverables and production ready solutions.
• Produce clear technical documentation and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Mentor junior developers and promote coding best practices and standards.
• Drive process improvements automation and performance optimization initiatives.

Required Skills Experiences Education and Competencies:

• 8 10 years of experience with Java Spring Framework and web services including REST and SOAP.
• 3 5 years of experience designing and developing enterprise level solutions.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices.
• Experience using collaboration and development tools such as Jira Confluence Bitbucket or similar.
• Proficiency in creating architectural diagrams and detailed technical documentation.
• Experience working with cloud platforms and distributed systems.
• Hands on experience with databases such as SQL Server and NoSQL platforms.
• Strong communication leadership and collaboration skills.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $40.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills experience location and industry.
