Test Technician

Become a Key Player as a Test Technician

You will help ensure quality and on-time delivery by accurately testing fan and pump assemblies supporting manufacturing operations and test-stand readiness. You will work onsite with the production and engineering teams operating and maintaining mechanical hydraulic and electrical test systems to validate product performance.

Heres How Youll Make an Impact on the Team

• Perform moderate to complex test functions using hand and power tools mechanical/electronic tools test equipment and fixtures
• Set up test equipment for a variety of products and measure/record valve or system conformance to test specifications
• Install plumbing for hydraulic pneumatic fuel and nitrogen tests per product ATP specifications
• Work with 120480V 3-phase 400Hz electrical test setups and verify accuracy of test stands prior to testing
• Conduct tests using common and computerized data acquisition equipment and interpret/record results (X-Y recorders oscilloscopes transducers flowmeters vibe machines vibe tables ESS chambers)
• Troubleshoot failures revealed by test data and perform rework as needed
• Build and test experimental devices from engineering sketches or specifications and develop design details
• Maintain a FOD-free work area and observe all safety rules
• Ensure all equipment is calibrated per the calibration schedule

Heres What Youll Need to Be Successful in This Role

• U.S. citizenship
• High school diploma or GED
• Approximately 5 years of related experience and/or training
• Over three years exposure to a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of engineering principles
• Ability to work with and set up 120480V 3-phase 400Hz electrical test systems

Pay Range

$25.00 - $28.00/hour
