Job Summary

Role impact:

In this role you will be responsible for the financial underwriting of multiple development projects across a variety of asset classes in order to expand our pipeline and report financial results. You will assist with determining the feasibility of development initiatives through detailed financial analysis and projected cash flow models based on current market trends and estimated future market conditions. You will support the activities of individuals involved in the development process and be responsible for the preparation of development proposals for approval by the Investment Committee and Board of Directors. This role reports to the Senior Director Development Analytics.

What you will deliver:

  • Determine the feasibility of development initiatives across various asset classes (retail office multi-family and industrial) through financial analysis and projected cash flow models
  • Support the activities of individuals involved in the development process through the various stages of a development project
  • Analyze financial and business data to help determine the returns from a development project and ensure that the best action is taken
  • Research and collect information on current market trends to assist in decision making
  • PrepareInvestment Committee andBoard Reports for the approval of development proposals
  • Maintain and support regular and standardized reporting integrity of the development department
  • Be available to work potential over time on occasion and for occasional travel

What you need to succeed:

  • An undergraduate degree in Business Economics Real Estate or Engineering
  • CFA AACI candidate and/or MBA an asset
  • 1-3 years related experience preferably in the Real Estate/Property Development industry with exposure to a variety of asset classes (retail office multi-family and industrial)
  • A strong knowledge of financial concepts cash flow modeling corporate finance andNOIProperty calculations
  • Computer proficiency in the use of Excel Word and Argus Enterprise

Starting base salary for this job level may range from $68610 to $91480. The actual base salary offered will consider several factors including but not limited to the role experiences skills & qualifications location market and internal considerations; with this context CF reserves the right to pay above this range.
