Position Summary
Golden Ocala Golf & Equestrian Club is seeking a creative and personable Member Communications Coordinator to join our this role youll support the Membership Director by managing member communications providing prospective members tours of the club assisting with events and helping to keep our brand presence engaging and cohesive across platforms.
The ideal candidate is energetic outgoing and tech-savvy with a passion for creating exceptional experiences. Youll play a key role in anticipating member needs crafting timely communications about club happenings and ensuring every interaction reflects the welcoming luxury experience Golden Ocala is known for. Comfortably engaging with prospective members youll also lead membership tours and confidently answer questions about club opportunities while bringing fresh ideas to the team.
Key Responsibilities
Create and manage engaging content for the clubs website social media platforms (Instagram Facebook LinkedIn) and digital communications.
Lead prospective members on personalized facility tours while answering questions and highlighting membership opportunities.
Manage administrative tasks and accurately input member and prospect information into the club management database.
Keep the club website up to date with current events news and offerings ensuring accuracy and brand consistency.
Monitor industry and lifestyle trends to inspire fresh relevant content and keep the clubs brand modern and engaging.
Collaborate across departments and with managers to ensure cohesive messaging and a unified brand presence throughout all platforms.
Develop schedule and maintain weekly email communications to keep members informed and engaged with club events news and offerings while tracking performance metrics (open rates click-throughs engagement) to continuously improve communication effectiveness.
Design and update promotional materials event flyers and digital campaigns to support member engagement and club initiatives.
Collaborate with the Events Team to plan promote and execute member events that enhance the overall experience drive engagement and support member satisfaction and retention.
Respond promptly to member questions concerns and feedback through phone email and in-person interactions ensuring issues are addressed efficiently.
Work closely with department heads to solve member concerns and deliver seamless service experiences.
Maintain a professional welcoming and solution-oriented presence as the first point of contact for members and guests.
Track engagement and provide feedback on content performance to continuously improve communications and outreach efforts.
Requirements & Qualifications
Strong organizational written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt messaging to different audiences.
Positive professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills to foster strong member relationships.
Ability to manage multiple priorities remain calm under pressure and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Word Excel) with the ability to quickly learn club-specific software platforms.
Familiarity with social media platforms (Meta Business Suite Facebook Instagram LinkedIn) and basic content creation tools.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise sound judgment and work independently while collaborating effectively across departments.
Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through to ensure timely and accurate communications.
Understanding of brand consistency and ability to contribute to cohesive messaging across print digital and in-person member touchpoints.
Basic math proficiency for reporting scheduling and administrative tasks.
Must be flexible to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.
Compensation:
Hourly Rate: $24$28/hour (commensurate with relevant experience and qualifications)
