Training Operations Coordinator

Vast is looking for a Training Operations Coordinator reporting to the Director of Talent Development to support onsite training administration of the Learning Management System and talent development program management.

This will be a full-time non-exempt position located in our Long Beach location.

Responsibilities:

• Daily administration of data certifications course rosters and attendance materials eLearning tests/quizzes dashboards and system configurations for the Learning Management System (Cornerstone)
• Organize schedule manage enrollments record attendance and ensure training materials are available for in-person training courses
• Act as a primary point of contact for routine employee inquiries exercising sound judgment to resolve standard issues and escalating complex or unique matters to Talent Development team members as appropriate
• Coordinate with third party vendors for specialized resources and instruction which are outside of internal expertise
• Coordination with Vast end users to establish the scope of work across Talent Programs and the Training Intake Form
• Create course materials such as PowerPoints handouts and tests for instructor-led programs
• Assist with data and reporting requests from internal customers and cross-functional People team members
• Own the ongoing maintenance and optimization of the Talent Development teams Confluence pages ensuring information is accessible accurate and updated regularly

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• Intermediate level Google Sheets (or Microsoft Excel) knowledge

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Experience with Learning Management Systems (1 years Cornerstone preferred)
• Basic understanding of Learning & Development (course completion rates compliance training Instructor-Led Training vs. eLearning)
• Knowledge of computer applications and the ability to easily navigate through different computer software programs (Google Workspace Applications Microsoft Excel Tableau)
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to make independent judgments with limited information
• Communication skills for relaying data (verbally and in-writing) between other employees vendors and customers
• Logical and strategic approach to solving problems
• Comfortable working in a high-stress environment balancing several projects at any given time and the flexibility to adjust for abrupt changes in strategic direction
