38weeks per year (term time only)
Salary- Grade 4 SCP 5- 25583.00 (Full Time Equivalent)- Actual Salary-18892.01
Temporary for 1 academic year in the first instance
GainsboroughPrimary and Nursery Academyare looking for an outstandingenthusiasticand hard-working Grade 4 Teaching Assistant to join our team.
Thisis a variedrolewhichinvolves working with children from across school;supporting children in class groupsand leading interventions as directed by the SENCO/class teacher.
The successful candidate must: -
- havepreviousexperience of working with primary aged children with special educational need;
- have a minimumLevel3TeachingAssistant and or Level 3 EYFSqualification;
- be highly motivated and committed to working as part of a team;
- have excellent interpersonal skills;
- have the ability toact on their own initiative;
- be committed to the vision and values of our school;
- have a child-centred approach to their work;
- have excellent verbal and written communication skill at all levels (with childrenstaffand parents/carers);
- gave a good sense of humour and a hardworking ethos;
- be able to present as a positive role model.
- demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding children andmaintainingconfidentiality at all times;
- have the ability towork independently but also as part of a team
