Description:
We are hiring for our client a growing mechanical contractor with a strong pipeline of residential and commercial projects across Ireland seeking an experienced M&E Coordinator to join their Newry-based team. This M&E Coordinator job offers the opportunity to take ownership of projects from early design through to construction handover. The successful M&E Coordinator will play a key role within a developing pre-construction function working closely with clients consultants and delivery teams.

The Role:
Lead mechanical coordination from pre-construction to handover
Chair coordination meetings with clients consultants and contractors
Act as technical liaison across all project stakeholders
Manage digital project setup (Procore and client systems)
Identify and resolve coordination issues early
Report progress to senior management
Support development of pre-construction processes
Mentor junior team members

The Person:
3 years experience in mechanical/building services (design coordination or technical)
Strong understanding of mechanical systems in construction
Experience at design or pre-construction stage
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Strong stakeholder communication skills
Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Full driving licence and eligible to work in Ireland/UK
Proficiency in MS Office (Procore/BIM tools desirable)
Exposure to heat pumps ventilation HIUs or BIM advantageous
