The Role
You will take ownership of underwriting strategy and performance for the Home portfolio ensuring profitable growth and strong risk control.
Key responsibilities:
- Define underwriting strategy and risk appetite
- Make decisions on complex and referred risks
- Monitor portfolio performance and risk exposure
- Work with pricing and claims on performance insights
- Manage insurer relationships and delegated authority requirements
- Ensure governance compliance and audit readiness
The Person
- 5 years home underwriting experience
- Strong technical underwriting capability
- Experience in insurer or MGA environment
- Strong decision-making and stakeholder skills
